This makes me want to get my board and hit the waves. This is such a great photograph the grain as ~luag mentioned does add a lot to it. Excellent work my friend.
really nice shot the grain suits it quite well the sky looks so hostile, i must say the compositiong is fantastic on this too so much emotion lol your out doing yourself over and over surprised your not a professional
I love grainy, always have! It adds so much feeling and drama to b&w shots. I really like this shot. Its got a lovely feeling to it. Very well done mate.
btw, sadly i won't be getting a D10, or a 300D for that matter, I just settled for a Canon G5 for half the price of a Rebel and gave my old Canon A40 to my mother. Its a 5 MP cam, shoots in RAW mode and has some very decent features. A rebel would be wasted on me at the minute and i don't want to get into buying lenses again etc. I think this G5 is about right for what i need. It'll allow decent sized prints too and thats been my main priority, so i'm happy. The rest of my money goes to my solicitor i'm afraid lol typical! well who knows, in the future i may feel more comfortable with spending a bigger outlay.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
