This makes me want to get my board and hit the waves. This is such a great photograph the grain as ~luag mentioned does add a lot to it. Excellent work my friend.

I love grainy, always have! It adds so much feeling and drama to b&w shots. I really like this shot. Its got a lovely feeling to it. Very well done mate.

btw, sadly i won't be getting a D10, or a 300D for that matter, I just settled for a Canon G5 for half the price of a Rebel and gave my old Canon A40 to my mother. Its a 5 MP cam, shoots in RAW mode and has some very decent features. A rebel would be wasted on me at the minute and i don't want to get into buying lenses again etc. I think this G5 is about right for what i need. It'll allow decent sized prints too and thats been my main priority, so i'm happy. The rest of my money goes to my solicitor i'm afraid :( lol typical! well who knows, in the future i may feel more comfortable with spending a bigger outlay. :D

I like the one lone person in this shot, and the contrast of the sky against the water. Lovely capture.
